DESERT PEARL
MY STORY
I grew up in a “diamond family” as we in Antwerp like to say. My family has been at the centre of the diamond industry for over 3 generations, specifically in Amsterdam and Belgium.
Because of this, I have always held a fascination and curiosity for diamonds, and I was always hungry to learn more. As soon as I turned 20, I left my home in Antwerp without hesitation and travelled to Gujarat, India where 90% of the world’s diamonds pass through for polishing. The ultimate education.
My time in Gujarat gave me so much more than I could have asked for. Not only was my knowledge in diamonds expanded beyond what I thought was possible, but I also adopted a brand new culture and made some lifelong connections. I decided I wanted to take things one step further and put my new-found knowledge of diamonds to use – and that’s when I decided to journey over to Mumbai to seek guidance in the art of jewelry design.
Thus began “Goldstoff Designs” – my very own jewelry design venture with an aim to create pieces that inspire joy and confidence, as well as tell my story.

I have always seen Jewelry as a vessel through which I can convey
my unique experiences and surroundings – a different way to write
my story.
When I made my ambitious and admittedly unexpected move to Dubai, I was filled with anticipation at the prospect of being inspired by a new city and culture – and it did not disappoint! After taking in all the city had to offer, and learning of the rich history of the UAE, I created my first collection – “Desert Pearl” – inspired by the region’s iconic pearl trade dating back all the way to the 7th century.
